TEHRAN – Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi said on Sunday that new changes are taking place at the Foreign Ministry.

Qassemi said under the changes, the ministry will remove three posts, including deputy foreign minister for European and American affairs, deputy foreign minister for Arab-African affairs and deputy foreign minister for Asia and Pacific affairs.

He said instead two posts, including deputy foreign minister for economic affairs and deputy foreign ministe for political affairs, will be added to the ministry.

The changes will be made by the end of the Persian month of Bahman (February 19), he added.
